Active, hacked or phished Paypal accounts found for sale on yet more venues. For those not paying attention, there are entire sleazy industries surrounding all things ebaY & Paypal. This particular type has been exposed time and again.

Please don’t overlook the very real possibility they could all be insider fraud, as Paypal’s own documents show.

I say this because ebaY and PayPal  have been very quick and thorough to silence criticism and exposure of embarrassing facts, yet these highly fraudulent sites remain. EbaY allows as many accounts as a person wishes, and Paypal does little to nothing to verify people at the gate. Rather, they wait until funds are in one’s accounts, then seized, after the fact, under any number of false or invalid reasons, until you are “proven worthy“.

It’s pretty obvious that the members are being used to subsidize fraud and failure, and to cover PayPal’s losses, which are bourne of their very own lackwit policies and practices IMO.

The very best thing you can do is avoid PayPal and ebaY. Close both your ebay and Paypal accounts and do whatever you need to to be sure they cannot access both your bank accounts and credit cards.

Auctionbytes  posted a blog regarding the issue, (where the same John Delson  person chimes in again in the comments area BTW). Ebay spokespeople issued staunch denials both there and at a board upgrade forum at ebay community forums.

Before you acknowledge or discount this as a legit message from alleged ebay employee John Delson, please consider the infamous ‘memo’ from 2008 and note how many of the things mentioned there came to pass, as well as how many similar things were then mentioned.

This is John Delson, an employee for eBay, Inc.

I know this will get me fired, but I am walking out today, so it does not matter anymore.

I work in the Seller Development department .

This department handles the future of how eBay members list, how they sell, what they sell, detailed seller ratings, feedback, etc.

Just about anything you do with selling is regulated with this department.

I’ve been with eBay for over 9 years, and I am one of the longest working employees in this department.Many others have left, or have been terminated, due to being “lenient towards sellers”.

Anyway, I want to bring up some key points that were discussed at the last “work shop”.

This workshop meets for about one hour on every Wednesday. This work shop consists of several “upper level” eBay employees, and from time to time, John Donahoe, president of eBay, will stop in to make sure everything is “up to snuff” (as he puts it).

Anyway, after all the wrong doing eBay has done to sellers, what was discussed today was the final “straw that broke the camel’s back”, after posting this, I’m walking out after 9 years of putting up with eBay’s unfairness to sellers, non sense, often immoral (bordering illegal) policies that I personally have had to develop and implement into the eBay website.

The upcoming event, will be the final “nail in the coffin” for many eBay sellers, however I want to get this out here ahead of time, so you can prepare for it. This was actually going to be announced one week before being put into place.

 On October 1st, 2011, eBay, Inc, on ALL eBay country locations (.co.uk, .jp, .com, etc) will be ending the auction listing format.

After October 1st, 2011, all auctions will cease to exist on eBay, in favor of Donahoe’s plan (more on this later).

 As you many know, we at eBay implemented a 9% final value fee on shipping costs.

Our official statement was released to the public stating it was done to prevent excessive shipping charges.

In reality, eBay was suffering profit losses, and this fee was a must in order to keep a positive income.

We understood that this would make a few sellers upset, this is why we also announced a new fee structure, and gave sellers 50 free auction listings.

This was done in order to keep our company looking untarnished for investors of eBay shares. We wanted to make more money from sellers, but keep them on here at the same time.

 Many of you may wonder why eBay allowed numerous sellers from China to list on the eBay.com website.

 We did this because:

-. Not only can buyers from china purchase things from eBay China, buyers can now purchase things from china all over the world. China is a largest seller, and allowing them more search exposure would increase our fee income, and increase our GMV.

 - It undersells sellers from other countries, and allows China to be the leader in sells for eBay.

 Now you may be wondering why John Donahoe wants to get rid of auction format.

Here are some of the reasons that were mentioned at today’s workshop:

 - When buyers bid, they are not purchasing unless they win.

- The more buyers purchasing, the higher our fee profit is from sales.

- Time wasted bidding, is time that could be used for buying.

So there you have it, from the words of John Donahoe himself.

 There will be another update released in February 22nd, 2012, that will get rid of small and medium volume sales.

 eBay is tired of small sellers, because:

 -They can’t self sustain themselves, and tie up our customer support system.

- They often list junk, we don’t want to look like a flea market.

- They make us fees, but not enough for it to be worth them on our trading platform, due to all the issues they have.

 On February 22nd, any one selling on the eBay website, will have to have at least 7,500 items in stock and ready for shipment.

-This number may increase.

- Sellers will have to submit proof of inventory, any documents proving they own the inventory, and (maybe) pictures of inventory.

- This will not apply to sellers who currently sell at least 5,000 items a month, since their selling volume is generally enough to satisfy our per-seller fee goal.

 Well, that’s all I have to say, its been a unpleasant 9 years at eBay, and I hope all sellers reading this will take proper measures to ensure their success on eBay.

Unless Breivik is able to log into ebay from his jail cell, It seems pretty clear that ebay made that feedback private. What could they be trying to hide?

It strikes me rather odd that ebay sells all sorts of crime supplies, for some very gruesome crimes now, (as noted in the CAPP forum post linked above) but then tries to cover it up or justify it with phrases such as “Just a Venue” etc

Meanwhile they want teenagers  engaged at the periphery of civil disobedience protests to get 15 yrs in prison.

That would also be aside the fact that they profit greatly from crime eg: efencing.

They hacked Rupert Murdoch’s TheSun  with a satire headline purporting his death, a hilarious news write-up including mention of death caused by ingestion of radioactive palladium, cracks alluding to meth labs, mustaches and monacles, a comic sequence with a little proof of the hack, and a redirect to LULzSec’s twitter page.

This all in the wake of a Murdoch-involved telephone hacking scandal and mysterious death of a whistleblower. A sad sad episode which shows the depths of depravity that these corrupt corporations and their evil execs dwell in.

Rupert Murdoch is of course an actual media mogul who singlehandedly owns/controls perhaps most of the world’s media, including I believe, everyone’s ‘favorite’, FOX news.

It does not get much more entertaining than this, no matter who you are. I would think even Rupert Murdoch had to have laughed. And if he didn’t he has NO sense of humour whatsoever.

I still haven’t stopped laughing yet. The spin-off jokes continue as one reporter mispronounced LULz as “Louise”

And then there is this which I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere else. Notice the watermark in the first few seconds of this excruciatingly lame video in the lower left hand quadrant: “mediaburialvideos”

uhmmm… OK, maybe that’s not all that funny. Just something at the moment…

But wait there is more comedy. It’s the passwords. They have them and they are planning on leaking all of them.

They did publicly post that of Rebekah Brooks, which turned out to be 6300, (last 4 digits of the publications tip hotline) with a salt of ‘Rebekah’. That’s serious comedy!

It goes on with more and more. The hypocrisy is as stunning as it is hilarious.

First off, how are they going to ID anyone? Anonymous has hacked some very high profile targets (including the DdoS of paypal) and hasn’t been stopped yet.

What makes paypal think they can do a thing?  PayPal has a horrible reputation for being an all out clusterbleep, as well as a scofflaw, and friend of the scammer.

Fake Paypal accounts are being bought and sold all over.

Paypal has publicly admitted by their own employees, that they can’t even ID as many as 74% of their own users properly. No, the paypal way is to wait until their are a substantial amount of funds in  your account, then freeze it and make you jump through endless loops to retrieve your own money.

Next, ebaY, Paypal’s parent company, has actually been lobbying against the Organized Retail Crime Bills for a few years now. Last time I saw, they were spending about six thousand dollars a day in their efforts.

One of the issues, I believe, was that ebay didn’t seem to think that requiring serial numbers of items for sale on their site was appropriate. They and they  alone, for some mysterious reasons, are above such tedium. The typical pawn shop is safer and more consumer /community friendly than ebay.

What other conclusion is there, than that an entity which lobbies against crime bills must be in favor of crime?

There has been million dollar scams and assorted fraud /fake ID rings on ebay being uncovered recently like never before. Hardly anyone is even blinking an eye anymore it’s so commonplace. They love and profit from crime. Fact!

But enough about sleazebay and steamingpilepal and anything from them about how they hate crime.

I don’t think people are getting the message about Anonymous. Not like I’m any expert, but it looks to me to be more a state of mind than an organization.

I don’t think they can stop that and anything harsh they try is only going to bring more mayhem.

What’s more, are we heading for some society of corporate sponsored selective law enforcement? Seems not unlike fascism.

What next? Paypal thoughtcrime?

Maybe someone needs to brush up on history. PayPal and these others may be making a huge blunder.

They may win a a war, but lose the peace.

At some point, Doc, the Admin or the host, must have pulled the plug, as I saw only the free parking page. It’s back online now and soon to be restored fully.

For those not familiar with ebaymotorssucks.com, it’s probably one of the oldest ebaY critic sites on the web, and most likely the #1 such site. He’s exposed many bad things about ebaY, ebaY motors, and helped untold numbers of would-be victims from being scammed. In fact, he, and his site(s) have likely prevented fraud and scams more than ebay’s lack-whit customer service dept, which is notorious for giving bad advice.

That may be because Doc focuses on warning and educating the victims or would-be victims, not profits.

Ebay/Paypal has proven time and time again that they do NOT CARE about YOU! You are nothing more than dollar signs ringing up in their otherwise blank stare. Sadly, a true fact that thousands of ebaY and Paypal victims find out every single day.

I guess the only question is who would want a site like that down?
(Need I state the obvious here?)

Let’s put it this way, I do not feel or believe that Anonymous or any of that phylum is behind  the attack.

Does it seem like ebay /paypal could have played a part in or been behind the DdoS attack upon ebaymotorssucks.com?

One way to determine present or future behavior is to look at past behavior…

It’s no secret that ebaY uses dirty tricks, astroturfers, and has an alleged “Black Budget” department.

They’ve been caught using corporate shills, even from the highest levels of management time and again, as well as using very unscrupulous tactics to attempt to coerce the media.

Their forum moderation outfit’s publicly stated policy to to deliberately NOT disclose that they are being paid to “steer” and ‘seed’ the conversations on ebay’s community forums and elsewhere.

We’ve even seen what appears to me to be some scandalous activity surrounding Vandalism of wikipedia by ebay employees, and donations to the parent corp, wikimedia.

Ah yes, then there was some recent conflict at Doc’s site with an ebaY corporate shill…

Hmmm… I can’t help but wonder if these events aren’t related?

Did I mention that such behavior, ei; the use of undisclosed paid word of mouth endorsers is against FTC regs?

I don’t feel that there is much question that ebaY certainly lacks the ethics, and is well capable of using any number of assorted dirty tricks.

That’s one reason why I’ll be doing everything in my power to expose ebaY for the sleaze trap that it is, and to persuade others to close their accounts and join in the fight.

The other reason is for the LULz.  It’s pure comedy watching these snakes at ebay spin and squirm. haha!

All you who wish to join me can start by always mentioning ebaY in a bad light where ever possible, including real life, where ebaY’s undercover paid liars and  trolls are not present.

There’s no shortage of factual, negative things to say to convince folks to never use ebaY or Paypal, and/or close their accounts. eg; virus, ID theft, stolen goods, glitches, lack of any real customer service. 3 hr wait times to get to a non-English speaking rep, and of course, hacked accounts and bogus invoices.

JMO, I think the 11+ year ID theft allowing, uncorrected critical safety xss flaw really is the one which nearly guarantees that whomever you tell, won’t be going to the ebay site. Bear in mind that all one needs to do is simply land on the wrong page at ebaY and BAM! ~ You are owned. pOwn3d!

Usually, the most casual or subtle mentions at the right time and place are all that’s required.

Remember, word-of-mouth built ebaY and the same can take it down too.

I see that ebaymotorssucks.com is now back up fully at http://www.ebaywarehouse.us.
The post “Are ebaY’s ears ringing” has also been restored.

I bet Doc is even re-motivated to start back into hardcore ebaY criticism and exposure.

I’d like to say thanks to sleazebaY for re-invigorating us both.

While not too many people seem to be noticing, the fact is that @PayPalUK has been hacked yet again! You may notice their page is suspended. (again)

You may notice the hacker states that usernames and passwords have been gleaned and will be dumped.

I don’t see anything resembling an official response from Paypal. But for anyone paying attention, covering up things like this (and much worse) are one of paypal’s special talents. Don’t expect them to make a peep about it unless this hits major publications.

I’ve found something resembling an official statement at Huffingtonpost’s 7 top tweets of the week

“The Twitter handle for PayPal’s U.K. branch was apparently hacked on Tuesday. For several house, the feed tweeted out links to an anti-PayPal website and featured highly critical statements about PayPal. The company confirmed the hack, and Twitter suspended the account the same day. As of Sunday evening, the feed remains offline. “

It would seem that Paypal is going to try to skim over the second hack job.

Not surprising.  The truth to Paypal is much like  sunlight to a vampire.

Just in case you want to see it, here is a screencapture of paypal.uk twitter page on July 6th 2011 at around 5:36 AM Pacific time, USA, which as you can see from the comments, was after the first hack attack, and before the second one. So, NO, again, the account did not ‘remain offline’. It was hacked a second time!
