Google safe Browsing Page for paypal shows it infected with malware, trojans, drive-by downloads.
If I were you, I sure wouldn’t go anywhere near Paypal! Do whatever you need to to make sure that ebaY or Paypal cannot access or withdraw funds from your bank and/or credit card accounts in any way. Then close your ebay and paypal accounts. (ebaY is still showing infected too, as it has since almost forever)

LoLz! Not sure why, but any tweets I’ve made about this haven’t been able to be found via search at twitter. You can go back through my tweetstream and see them though. There’s been many many now, some even sent to @askpaypal etc. Note the dates of this post and the tweets I’ve made regarding the issue.

note the names of the trojans in the images. HTML:bankfraud-BBE
Twitter realtime search for paypal trojan:

So again, no telling why these types of things happen but see for yourself and determine whether you really feel safe trusting paypal, and why critical info such as Google’s Safe Browsing page results regarding the risks associated with using paypal are not able to be found on Twitter via search?
Maybe it’s because paypal has a company at their disposal who’s stated “core value” is to protect from (or remove?) ‘risky user content” from the interwebs?

Searching the Trojan infection name I find info on avast forums, where, so far, I don’t see any explanation ei: false positive etc, from avast. however one poster there received a PP email reply wherein paypal states they “…do not feel it is on PayPal’s end… ”
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=122573.0
Still, having Google Safe Browsing tool detecting trouble too shouldn’t be overlooked.
fwiw I also went to paypal’s login screen and found page elements with the same or similar names to the infection names in screencaptures posted at avast forums.

This could get interesting. One person reports being compromised, one being infected.
Meanwhile, at ebay’s paypal forum, click through and check this out! It seems one of their charming helpers is telling victims to ignore the warning. LoLz!

Is GData the same as avast? That’s the only 1 which showed infection.
Saved a paypal page as Firefox htm file. The other portion [files, which I 7zipped to scan] came back with zero hits.
Try it yourselves.

If you can read this, please spread the word about this very real issue. Paypal will allow everyone to get reamed, then blame the victims.
