Really? Hold on thar, Babba-Louie.

The first article I saw (and tweeted) about this did not include a screenshot. The reported error didn’t seem too unusual, [ei: no mention of occupation] as similar things have happened before. (Except that before they overcharged Billions.)

However, now looking at… 

the screencap which is posted on CNN.

Is it just me, or does that actually have a minus sign ( – ) in front of the $92,233,720,368,547,800 figure, on the line that says “ending balance”? Indicating a negative balance of $92 quadrillion, or [supposedly] that Chris Reynolds owed Paypal bazillions?

By the way, I couldn’t help notice that the victim in the CNN report is a Pennsylvania PR executive. Interesting, as this story is filling the interwebs. You know, kinda like a PR stunt is designed to do?

I hope it’s not burying any real news.
